This site is a catalogue of books in my Anglo-Judaica Collection, dating back to the early 19th century. Items are arranged in chronological order by date of publication so as to preserve an element of "lucky dip" as your browse through the catalogue.
The Authorised Daily Prayer Book, aka the Singer's Siddur, has its own page -  click here to see that part of the Collection.

Leon H. Charney and Saul Mayzlish
JR Books, London.
ISBN: 978-1-906217-40-2
From the cover blurb:
A mourner's prayer, recited by the offspring of a deceased parent, Kaddish is recited in Lublin and Prague, in Baltimore and New York, London and Moscow, in Triploi and Alaska - wherever there is a Jewish community. Even people who ordinarily never set foot in a synagogue suddenly become regulars when a parent has passed away.
But what is it that makes people rearrange their lives in order to say this prayer three times daily for eleven months, and what makes it so deeply moving and relevant? Leon Charney and Saul Mayzlish have travelled the world to attempt to unravel the mystery of the Kaddish.
